Advertise

A study by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) found that during the 2008 recession, brands that “went dark” — ceasing all advertising and consumer communication for a year — faced significant financial setbacks for at least six months and took up to five years to fully recover. Similarly, companies that halved their advertising budgets needed three years to regain normal profit levels.

In today’s competitive market, businesses of all sizes — from established corporations to small businesses and start-ups — must continue advertising to stay connected with their target audience. Advertising not only drives sales but also sustains consumer interest. Additionally, businesses play a vital role within their communities, and their success benefits the local economy. Effective advertising is one of the best ways to expand a business, ensuring sustained brand visibility and market relevance.

Beyond our local print publication, we offer advertisers the opportunity to engage with their ideal audience through both mobile and display ads. Each print ad is paired with a custom digital version, strategically designed to target the same exclusive group of residents. This added digital touchpoint enhances engagement by driving users directly to the advertiser’s website. Monthly performance tracking allows us to fine-tune the ad design and optimize calls-to-action (CTAs) for a seamless customer journey.

According to Harvard Business Review and Forbes, market downturns present opportunities for companies to increase their market share through strategic advertising. Brands that reduce ad spending risk losing consumer mindshare, ultimately leading to a decline in both current and future customers.

Our Neighbor Ipswich magazine reaches households with high levels of discretionary income and home ownership. These readers are more likely to trust established brands and engage with local sponsorships. Advertising in our magazine connects your business with a loyal audience that values the familiar and dependable.

The cost of print and digital advertising varies depending on factors like media type, ad size, placement, and duration. Magazine advertising costs, in particular, depend on the publication’s circulation and rate card. Local magazine rates are generally lower than those of national publications, with prime ad placements (such as inside covers or special sections) typically costing more than standard placements.

Rate cards outline pricing based on ad sizes and the frequency of insertions. For example, if you sign a contract for six insertions over six months, your ad will appear once in each issue for that period. Publications often offer discounts for multiple insertions, though this is subject to the publisher’s discretion.

One of the most common questions from business owners or managers looking to advertise is, “What will it cost to promote my business?” The answer depends on the advertising platform you choose and your business objectives.

Below is a breakdown of available advertising spaces and sizes as they will appear in our magazine. Please feel free to contact us at info@ourneighbormagazines.com to discuss pricing and explore the best advertising options for your business. Now is the perfect time to elevate your brand and ensure it stays top of mind with your target customers. We are here to help, offering effective advertising solutions tailored to your budget without compromising on quality.
